Information on Data Processing
Rum Kocsma Kft., acting as Data Controller (hereinafter: “Data Controller”), provides the following information to data subjects regarding the processing of personal data made available to it.
- Scope of personal data processed
The Data Controller processes the following personal data provided by the data subject during the use of services at DŰNE, operated by Rum Kocsma Kft.:
- name
- phone number
- email address
- Legal basis for data processing
The legal basis for data processing is the voluntary consent of the data subject based on proper information, as well as applicable legal provisions, in particular Act CXII of 2011 on the Right of Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information.
Personal data may only be processed based on properly informed consent.
The data subject acknowledges that providing personal data required for the use of services is essential. In the absence of such data, the Data Controller is unable to provide the service.
- Purpose of data processing
The purposes of data processing are:
- providing appropriate information, offers, and services to the data subject,
- maintaining contact,
- enabling the submission of complaints,
- identifying and handling complaints,
- fulfilling legal obligations and recording mandatory data.
- Data transfer
The Data Controller transfers personal data to third parties, third countries, or international organizations only with the explicit consent of the data subject, unless such transfer is required by law.
- Duration of data processing
In the case of data processing based on voluntary consent, the duration is:
- until the purpose of data processing is fulfilled, or
- until the data subject requests deletion, or
- until the withdrawal of consent, or
- until the execution of a court or authority decision ordering deletion, or
- in the absence of such provisions, until the limitation period applicable to claims arising from the legal relationship related to the data processing expires.
According to the Hungarian Civil Code, the general limitation period is 5 years.
Pursuant to Section 169 (1) of Act C of 2000 on Accounting, accounting documents must be retained for 8 years.
In cases of mandatory data processing, the duration is determined by applicable laws or local regulations.
- Rights of the data subject and legal remedies
The data subject is entitled, in accordance with the Data Controller’s internal policies and applicable regulations, to:
- request information about the processing of their personal data,
- request correction, deletion, or restriction of processing,
- object to data processing where applicable.
If the data subject believes that data processing is unlawful or causes harm, they are entitled to:
- initiate court proceedings,
- claim compensation or damages,
- initiate authority proceedings,
- file a complaint with the supervisory authority.
